No certificate profil to permit to install application was found in the workspace (Device Manager)

Hi,

I have an issue when I want install  the application on my Gear S3

I use Tizen-Studio 2.1.

I generated a samsung certificate, the application is builded and signed with a samsung certificate perfectly and without error

When I wand install the application on my Gear S3, I connect the device with the device manager and all it's OK

by the Device Manager

Then when I want intall app or when I want click on Permit to application there is this error message:

 

 

If I try to run application on the device from perspective, I have this error message :

Please import profile.xml file through certificate manager. At first open certificate manager then click as marked in below image.

After that browse profile.xml file from the current workspace as below image.

Now, create new certificate connecting Gear S3 device and then try permit to install again.

Thank your for your answer but it doesn't work :-(

The directory <Workspace_path>/.metadata/.plugins/org.tizen.common.sign was empty. 

I delete all profiles.xml files and I recreate all the certificates (tizen certificate and samsung certificate). After the recreation of the Samsung certificate, Certificate manager tell me that I can install application on the device.

But I already have the message when I try to click on "permit to install application"

Just to check again, did you install certificate extension from the Extension SDK section of package manager?

Hi,

Yes the Two extensions are installed ( Samung Certification Extension and Samsung Wearable Extension)

I suppose that the certificat is correct because I can sign the application ans I don't have any error when I had create the certificate.

I got the same problem. My PC crashed and just recovered. Re-installed Tizen Studio 2.2, creating new profile and certificates, no matter Tizen or Samsung profile, just cannot run "permit to install applications" on my Gear S3. :(

Stupid me! Just realize there is no need to run "permit to install applications" if there is only "2.0#" device, e.g. Gear S3 with Tizen 3.0.

 

At last, re-installed tizen studio (2.2), created a new Samsung profile with new author and distributor certificates and all are fine.

Hi, Do you mind sharing how you fixed this issue? I have exactly the same problem and have reinstalled the development environment several times including on a fresh fully updated windows 10 workstation. I have installed the gui version with and without using VS 2017 and always get the same error if I try to debug on a Gear S3 or installing a properly signed app from the device manager. Reegards.

Actually, after re-installed Tizen Studio (for many times :( ), I created a new Tizen profile but it failed when "Run" the app at my watch. Then I created a new Samsung profile. After that, I can both "Build Project" and "Run" the app at my watch now. I didn't run "Permit to install applications" at Device Manager as my only device is my Gear S3 running Tizen 3.0.

I don't fixed the issue.

I unistall all and I reinstall all the Tizen Studio as administrator and it doesn't work, I have already the same issue.

I will try to make a test on another gear to see if the issue is not on my gear.

It's not obvious how to paste an image from a file so I placed it on my local server. Strange. What am I doing wrong.

This is the certificate manager I see and I created one but whenever I try to run the app or add the certificate in the device manager I'm sent back to the certificate manager. What am I doing wrong.

How am I supposed to show you a picture of my certificate manager. What is Samsung doing wrong? And what is an internal image?

The Tizen Certificate Manager I see has tabs for "App Signing" and "Iot CLoud Service" and just allows me to choose an xml profile file and that's it. It sows mes a box that says Aurhot Certificate s3KEy and a distributed certificate that says tizon-distributor-signer.

For now I'm stuck.

BEAU HARDER

Although this is an old post, in the Package Manager, make sure you install the Extension SDK -> "Samsung Certificate Extension" package (not just the default "Certificate Manager"), otherwise you will not be prompted to select a "Samsung" certificate profile, which prompts for the DUIDs (or uses the one from a connected device).

I know this question is very old, but searching the internet it's difficult to find an answer to it, so let's go.
-First open Device Manager;
-Secondly open the emulator you want;
-Then open the Certificate Manager, create a Samsung account type certificate (if you have already created it, create it again);
-At the end of the process you will ask for a DUID list, if it is not filled out, do the step below;
-With the emulator connected to Device Manager, right-click on it, click on DUID and click on copy and paste in one of the DUID fields that is requested when creating the certificate.

Everything that is necessary has now been done.

Now, just right-click on the emulator in Device Manager and click on "Permit to install applications", and it will automatically accept.
