Delay/sleep methods in Tizen

Hi,
Did anybody face with these c++ methods or with their analogs to pause app execution?
Or should I try to use Tizen::Base::Runtime::Timer class to delay something?

I use timer to delay calling an intensive method to be able to show popup message
