Signing for gear s2

Hi,

I'm having some problems with signing for running on the device (gear s2).

I have done whats on this page -> https://developer.tizen.org/development/tools/common-tools/certificate-registration

But i get this error when i try to delpoy with sdb:

__return_cb req_id[145320002] pkg_type[rpm] pkgid[Invalid package] key[start] val[install]
__return_cb req_id[145320002] pkg_type[rpm] pkgid[Invalid package] key[end] val[fail]
processing result : FATAL_ERROR [61] failed
spend time for pkgcmd is [20768]ms

I thought there must be some kind of signing error. So i tried to follow the guide over here -> http://img-developer.samsung.com/gear/appdistributionguide.html

However, the icon in the guide is just not available in my ide and i have no clue on how to request a cert. I have tried to find it on both linux, windows and on os x with no luck.

Any ideas or tips ?

Hi,

I think that you need to install extenstion SDK in your pc. it's in below link.

try to install extension SDK for Wearable, as daniel kim suggested.

Just a sidenote. The documentation 'could' be a bit better. It't a bit hard to find the correct way to setup the tools! :)

Hello,

as i understand, now there is a reworking of the site and association documents from 2.3.0, 2.3.1 and 2.4 mobile and wearable, I think in the future will be presented to the full list of documents for development. 

I also hope that will add the ability to search for documents on the website, as implemented in IDE help contents.
