Did you try to install the .zip? In the tutorial is a short paragraph how to install the app. 

Use the below commands to install the sample application (HybridAudioPlayer.wgt file).

• sdb root on
• sdb push HybridAudioPlayer.wgt /opt/home/root/
• sdb shell
• $ cd /opt/home/root/
• $ wrt-installer -i HybridAudioPlayer.wgt

yes i have uncompressed the zip file and followed the instructions

# argv[0] = [wrt-installer]
# argv[1] = [-i]
# argv[2] = [HybridAudioPlayer.wgt]
===========================================================
sh: /usr/etc/package-manager/backend/tpk: No such file or directory
## wrt-installer : K5edhb7dzD.HybridAudioPlayer installation has failed - installation of osp service failed

there is no tpk file int the zip files 

Hi,

I suggest you to check the Tizen version of your device as I found this information in the same tutorial.

    Development Environment:

    Tizen SDK

     Version : 2.2.0
      Build id : 20130708-1957

I wish this will help you.
