Xamarin and Tizen for wearables

Hi I am looking to develop an application for the Sumsung Gear 2 watch which obviously runs on tizen. I was wondering if I could develop the producer side(phone) using xamarin and the consumer side(watch) using the tizen werables sdk. Will they be compatible together or should I stick with the eclipse/android SDK development platform?

I think that the only piece you might be missing for that scenario is .NET bindings for the Android-side Samsung Mobile SDK, which is used to communicate with the Gear using the Samsung bluetooth protocol.

MonoTizen (http://monotizen.com) brings C# onto Tizen devices, but that doesn't get you the C# bindings for the Samsung Mobile SDK on the phone.    Xamarin have bindings for the Android SDK, Fire SDK, Google Glass, Nokia X, etc. but I've not seen any .NET bindings for the Samsung Mobile SDK.

Good luck!    Maybe you can ask on the Xamarin Forums about whether anybody has done bindings for the Samsung Mobile SDK?    I imagine that is a scenario which a number of people will want (including me!)
