Tizen Store status?

Any more clarity or disclosure on the Tizen Store at the Tizen Summit Russia this week?

Was there a Tizen Store application running on the Samsung Z devices which were on display?    I am told that was the case at Tizen Developer Conference, but didn't think to look for that myself at the time.    Those were running against a fake store database, apparently.

Rumour or not... maybe false alarm... again...

Things going wrong with TizenStore new validation team. They have suspended most of my apps for no reasons. Only one crashed on Samsung Z, the others just because they don't know how to use them or don't like them

The new validation team could be Russian … I don’t know. They have problem understanding and evaluating the apps..

Samsung need to find a new validation team. It has been a disaster

I am waiting for a while before I update my apps with latest stable SDK.

I could not imagine how they were going to introduce  TizenStore after they killed so many good apps. Funny, I send Q&A to support team and the tem forward other developer same problem to HQ. The developer wrote that his/her app is very popular iOS app.. yet the validation team found it useless

I sent another Q&A and they told me they will check all apps again before they release Samsung Z on the market.

I don't know if they crazy validation team is the reason why they didn't show Samsung Z on Russian conference. They have been killing the store in the last few weeks.. KILLING IT!

I had the same story with my apps. Most of my high quality apps were suspended with the reason "application does not provide valuable, entertaining, unique and/or informative uses.". I think the real reason of suspending is incompatibility with Samsung Z firmware or hardware which causes that many applications need to be tested again or adapted to the new device. Later, I've received report that one of my app requires modification so this confirms these suspicions. This is not something unusual in the current stage of Tizen OS but the real problem is lack of SDK updates. Now we need to test our apps on real device with remote test lab, even if you own RD-PQ device.

Yes, I think many developers got the same ridicules suspension reason "application does not provide valuable, entertaining, unique and/or informative uses."

I got 2 more suspensions later for the apps who survived the ridicules previous rejection. One app crashed on Samsung Z and the other app the validation team think that changing the "translation of the book text" should change the UI language which the app does not do! I didn’t even bother to explain to them.

The other apps have not received any crash report so far.

I don’t know what they want, maybe they want developers to update their apps with latest SDK which as you said lacks updates. I don’t mind updating all my apps and do remote test for them but I don’t want to see this "application does not provide valuable, entertaining, unique and/or informative uses." Again
