Can NX300 be used as a development unit?

Hi

I'm not sure who to ask this question to.

But I personally own a Samsung NX300 Camera and I've heard that NX300 Camera is based on Tizen.

since I figure that there is a lack of development units for application developers,

I am wondering if NX300 can be used as a development unit?

Of course, I don't plan on experimenting on my new camera yet.

But as soon as I get up to a level to test on a device, I would like to try it out, if anyone in Tizen organization can confirm the possibility.

especially, I would like to understand if NX300 can be used for Native application development.

having that said, I wonder if NX300 can port Tizen magnolia version.

or at least just for web application development if it can not get updated with magnolia.

seeking for anyone's wise view, understanding or answer on this matter.

thanks

developer units are availabe https://developer.tizen.org/support/development-unit-program/available-development-units also Tizen is working on RD-PQ device, if you don't get any device you can also make use of RTL which is available for Public Tizen App Developers. http://developer.samsung.com/remotetestlab/rtlDeviceList.action#

Is this only rumour or false or is NX300 Tizen based? I am too lazy to check source of Cams... Best Regards

Unofficially: it is Tizen 1.0 based. So please don't use it to develop actual apps.
