Good question since 2 years...

"We" know only about undercover launch of Tizen Cameras few months ago...

For now I am pretty sure nothing happens in 2013.

Okay, few days left...

Tizenportathon is undercover... without any kind of public results or...

Maybe some results from Tizen Challenge will be public... in 2014... As Store is SOOOOON... full of wonderfull Apps and Games...

Nothing visible since MOTHS...

In my opinion... highest chance to see Tizen device ready for enduser... MWC 2014...

Maybe...

No idea what happens with such devices like:

GT-I8805

SM-Z9005

and so on... only rumours, nothing then rumours... few leaked rumours...

Nothing really new.

We have to wait for Tizen 3... then maybe Tizen Smartphone will come to us...

What did you mean with public results? The Tizen PortAThon was just for bada developers... What did you want to know about that? How many money the people get? Which apps are ported?

Tizen 3 will be released in 2014 (maybe Q3)

Don't forget that the Cameras as now connectivity to the TizenStore :) So they are more experiments just real Tizen Devices... Samsung self said that the cameras not really shown what Tizen can do :)

Du scheinst mich irgendwie sehr lieb zu haben... Ist ja auch Weihnachten... Aber bitte...
Es wäre schon interessant, zu wissen was dabei rausgekommen ist...
Ich meine Deine Apps seh ich ja auch auf bada...
Was haben die anderen eingereicht? Qualitativ vergleichbar mit den Themes von bada?
Gameloft? Andere Spieleschmieden? WhatsApp ?

The grand prize winners a invite to Tizen Conference 2014 so the results will not publish 2014 in December ;) On the old page the judge time was 9th dec until 23th dec.

Hm... I released free app for Challenge but for commercial development need know a device's release date.

We have no info about REAL release, as you can see. Also answer for Challenges result is 2014...

If I had the decision, I would postpone the first release to Q3-Q4 of next year. However, I read Japanese telecom company is in hurry and wants it in Q1 2014 in Japan

Tizen is doing good job creating echosystem. I have followed bada dev since beta version. Tizen is far better than bada in marketing and promoting

However, Tizen still needs more apps and games. For example, the top gaming framework, unity3d, still yet to release tizen export module.

Samsung should not be in hurry. They are in top of smartphone makers unlike others like WP and blackberry
