[Wear2] Delay in getting signed certificate from Samsung

Hi,

I have sent my encrypted certicate request to gear2.sec@samsung.com a couple of days ago. How long do I have to wait for reply from Samsung? Is there a "standard waiting time"?

what kind of certificate? partnership or public?

If it is public, they responds in the same day or even after few minutes during weekdays

Hi, thanks for your reply. It is "public" certificate. I did all the required steps (generating certificate_request.xml -> encrypted with my pgp key) and from last friday morning no reply from them. Grr.. maybe something is wrong, but they could at least reply that I broke something ;)

Strange, it took like 30 mins to get mine. Friday morning in your country is probably Friday night in Korea. Therefore, probably they went to weekend without noticing it. Not the right time to contact Korea in Friday

Send it again, make sure you send it to the right email address

what did you send to gear2.sec@samsung.com?? On Friday, which is not a good day to send to Samsung, I sent to gear2.sec@samsung,com the encrypted certificate-request.xml.gpg and with the encrypted clipboard message. Is it alright so I need to send to Samsung again on Monday?? need reply asap.

Thanks in advance

If you don't get your certificate on Monday, send the email again. This process is not automatic. Someone will generate the certificate for you

xml file is enough, don't send encypted msg

You mean the certificate-request.xml.gpg which to be sent?? (and not the certificate-request.xml??) I just received a customer msg from Samsung that they will reply asap, but it takes more time on holidays.
