Unable to run app on Gear S2

This the error ...

 

Error code: SIGNATURE_INVALID
Error message: 
Command: /usr/bin/pkgcmd -i -q -t wgt -p "/opt/usr/apps/tmp/testuicomponentssample.wgt"
Management: Check author certificates in Preferences > Tizen SDK > Secure Profiles > Profile items.

 

 

I went to Preferences -> Tizen SDK -> Security Profiles and hit Generate in the Author Certificate section. Is there anything else I'm missing?

Hello,

First of all, here is troubleshooting for certification: https://developer.tizen.org/trouble-shooting-certification

I suggest you to which profile is activated now in below menu of you IDE:     Window -> Preferences -> Tizen SDK -> Security Profiles  
Then clean all projects and build workspace. (Project -> Clean -> "Clean All Projects" and "Build Entire workspace").

That didn't fix anything. I've wasted two days now trying to get my device to show one of the sample applications.

 

Apparently I'm not the only person experiencing issues like this: https://developer.tizen.org/fr/forums/sdk-ide/generate-certificate-button-missing?langswitch=fr. This platform is a nightmare.

Hi,

It looks like that you didn't install extension SDK in below link. You need to install this one and generate your certificate through it.

The site you pointed me to says "Download Tizen Extension SDK for Wearable and extract the downloaded file.", but it doesn't give a download link. Searching Google for "Tizen Extension SDK for Wearable" doesn't give back any download link.

 

What is the download link???

It's strange, because this link works for me. The download link is just below the header Gear | Tizen Extension SDK for Wearable.

I was able to find the link and download/extract it. Please consider investing some time in fixing up your SDK and documentation.

 

There's no reason why a user has to jump through this many hoops just to get something working

as i understand, now there is a reworking of the site and association documents from 2.3.0, 2.3.1 and 2.4 mobile and wearable, I think in the future will be presented to the full list of documents for development.
