Tizen on windows 8.1

Hello everyone,

I read the Tizen SDK releases, but I didn't find the release for the windows 8.1.

I wander if windows 8.1 is officially supported? and is there any solution to install Tizen 2.3 on it?

Maybe you can try, use the SDK for windows 7.

Hi,

I think it’s better to use Win 7 for Tizen SDK. You can read more about attempts to install the Tizen SDK on Win 8 here:

This is an old topic, but we still have a number of reports from users who has problem with Win 8. Anyway, you can try to install the SDK on Win 8 yourself and let us know about result. Probably something was fixed in the latest SDK versions.

I am using Windows 7 version on my Windows 8.1.  The SDK works fine in my system.

What I guess when it is possible to install in windows 7 machine, So it is same with windoows 8.

Only thing is 64 bit version of SDK is required.
