Tizen Developers

I'm looking into upgrading my RPQ, however it doesn't seems to be easy at all.  I'm not so good with linux, is there a mac, or windows way to do this?

I tried to get linux to boot up on my virtualbox except that didn't work so well as it wouldn't recognise the phone connected to my computer.

I'm kind of perplexed at trying to get this phone to function properly.
