Unable to connect to WiFi

Hello,

Has anyone been able to connect to a WiFi network with the Magnolia device? I flashed it to R210 in order to be able to deploy applications to it, but honestly cannot say that it worked before.  I've tried WEP, WPA, and open on multiple rouers.  For each it said 'Connecting...' for a while then just gave up.  If I try to use WPS to connect it never detects that I pressed the buton.

Thanks,

Ben

I believe the 2.0 public image does not have wifi enabled due to Broadcom driver redistribution licencing concerns. Please contact the sponsor who supplied your device for access to the driver.

Did you try with 20130218? Can you try 20130219 version? http://download.tizen.org/releases/2.0/tizen-2.0_20130219.4/images/RD-210/

Hi ibba, can you try to flash the latest image? Try to flash RD-PQ not RD-210 for your device. https://wiki.tizen.org/wiki/Flash_Tizen_2.1_Image_to_Reference_Device

Hello, the documentation [1] is old. Please refer wiki [2] to flash your device. If you have RD-PQ, please download the RD-PQ images [3][4] and flash them. You also need to manually install MaliDDK [5] to use a browser. There is an instruction when you untar mali_2.1.tar.gz [1] https://source.tizen.org/documentation/reference/flash-device [2] https://wiki.tizen.org/wiki/Flash_Tizen_2.1_Image_to_Reference_Device [3] http://download.tizen.org/releases/system/Tizen_RD-PQ_System_20130514_1.tar [4] https://download.tizen.org/releases/2.1/tizen-2.1/images/RD-PQ/tizen-2.1_20130517.6_RD-PQ.tar.gz [5] http://source.tizen.org/mali-ddk-2.1
Daniel, what is the best way to flash on OS X without using virtual machines and Ubuntu? We have a bricked device issue Dump mode is dump_panic and we can't boot the device Thank you!

Without ubuntu you have no chance to flash it at the moment.
