Tizen License

Hi,

We are considering Tizen for a development, our purpose is twofold to extend Tizen platform and to write application on Tizen platform. My question is regarding Tizen license, it seems that commercial closed source application of Tizen is not possible since I have to release my code to the community. Am I wrong in this? Any help would be appreciated!

Sorry if this has been answered before, since I can't search the forums.

Regards,
Ovais

Hello Ovais, For Tizen platform, you can use any of these Licenses, Apache/BSD/Flora Licenses, so that you don't need to release your source to the open source community. Regards, Raghavendra

afaik a developer can write a 100% proprietary app like a game for instance.
