Support for Widget updation in Tizen

Hi All,
I am new to Tizen. Can anyone tell me if Tizen supports widget updation i.e updated to a new version. For example does it support the field <update-description href="https://example.com/myWidget/updates"/> (as per W3C norms).
Any help regarding this information?
