Problem with certification

I have a problem with gaining a certification for my app (which I need ASAP because of contest deadline:(). The problem which certification team sees is not really a bug but I think that they don't understand how the application should work and constantly reject my app. I tried to explain them why there is no possibility to do this or that (which they assume as a bug) but it doesn't help. What more should I do to get my app certified? Moreover - I don't have any real bugs - crashing, freezing or something.

Whats the problem? It can be helped when you post directly what the TizenStore team comment as "failure".

You can also make a demonstration video for the Certification where you show and explain about this issue... maybe it helps more than just some words.

Here it is:

"[Defect]
The main feature of the application is not working properly.
(Show Next Shopping function)
[Procedure]
1. Install and launch the application.
2. Use the 'Show Next Shopping'.
(Can not set a date for next week. so can not use the 'Show Next Shopping function' )
* If feature can not use, feature is remove.

[Exepcted Result]
The main feature of the application should work properly without any problems such as 'forced closing' or 'freezing or error'"

However "Show Next Shopping" function in my application is to provide a list with suggestions of products which should be bought in next week. This information is described on the "Show Next Shopping" screen. There is a description that the list is based on the past shopping and explanation why it is empty (if it is).

I will grayed out the function untill past shopping information available... I think thats the fastest solution.

add message box in the app when the user click on the "show next shopping" .. The message could be something similar to "Error: You have not made any previous shopping. No suggestion available  "

This way the user (and the tester) will understand why the list is empty. You can't leave the user (or the tester) wondering what is wrong

Also the name, show next week shopping , is confusing. In the rejection report, they say could not set the date of next week. So the tester is confused

Rename it to something similar to : Suggested Shopping list

Actually on the screen "Show Next Shopping" there is a message which tells user how the list is created and why it is empty (if it is). I added some changes in labels and descriptions on particular screens and example of usage in the Help screen. I hope it will helped the tester to understand the application.

However I'm a little bit surprised that they reject application because of usability issues. Application is working - no crashes, no freezing etc

The tester is confused "(Can not set a date for next week. so can not use the 'Show Next Shopping function' )"

He/she thinks that next week is next week with date. Just rename it ... I think it is better

The tester does not think it is usability issue, the tester thinks this does not work even if you explained it

Before, during bada certification, they used to reject app if button color does not look good. Now in Tizen, they stopped that nonsense
