Isn't OpenGL in tizen architecture heavy ?

 

Hello,

I know the OpenGL ex exiest in tizen architecture Graphics&UI core.

Is it too heavy ?

what's diffrenet between custom openGL used to draw 3d outside and OpenGL ex in tizen ?

What do you mean by heavy? can you please elaborate your question.

I mean the data size of openGL object is too big or heavy to insert the tizen platform architecture .

so I guess speed is a little slow or have traffic.. Is it right ?

Tizen supports OpenGL ES, not OpenGL or OpenGL "ex"

Since Tizen 2.3 support OpenGL ES 2.0, Tizen Z1 should have integrated GPU into it's 1.2GHz A7 dual-core chip. Because vertex shader and fragment shader are written by shading language and shading language can only run on GPU.

So with GPU and OpenGL ES 2.0 supporting, It can handle the case what you said heavy data size of OpenGL object.
