GBS installation problem

Hi all,

I'm trying to develop a tizen based platform, but I already encountered an error while installing GBS.

This is the error:

gbs : Depends: depanneur (>= 0.13) but it's not gonna be installed
Recommends: librpm-tizen (>= 4.11.0.1.tizen20130618-tizen20131001) but it's not gonna be installed
E: Impossible to correct the problems, there are broken locked packages.

I translated the console output so maybe these are not the exact words..

Any idea on how to solve this? I'm running UBUNTU 12.10 32bit on a virtual machine, and I added the tizen repository to the source list and installed MIC with no problems.

Hi Rosi,

I guess you made same mistake I did.  When I added Tizen tools repository to the source list, I copied/pasted from blew comment.  But my Linux version was Ubuntu 12.04  not 12.10.  :-(  It was just an example.  after I added correct version. the issue was gone.  hope this help you.

  1. Add Tizen tools repository to the source list.

Take Ubuntu 12.10 as an example, append the following content in the source list:

Note: Pay special attention to the space between the URL and "/".

    deb http://download.tizen.org/tools/latest-release/Ubuntu_12.10 /
