Using linux as primary OS and virtual box running, I cannot use emulator. It completelly crash Linux OS.

LInux + emulator but without virtual box works fine.

You problem is totally unclear. For what do you use Virtual Box? What exactly breaks down? What is written in the emulator log? And please pay attention to the fact that only Ubuntu is officially supported among Linux operationg systems now.

For what do you use Virtual Box? - Virtual Box - used for other OS What exactly breaks down? - Linux on which I run Virtual Box and Tizen SDK with emulator What is written in the emulator log? - I do not not. OS completelly crashed. You can simply reproduce it: Install Linux (Ubuntu 12.10 used) on your PC. Install Virtual box and run some other OS on it. Install Tizen SDK and run emulator

Just checked it on my kbuntu 13.04. The system doent crash. But the attempt of running the emulator resulted with post "No accelerator found." while virtualbox was running. From the other side virtualbox showed the next message while the emulator was running:

VT-x is being used by another hypervisor. (VERR_VMX_IN_VMX_ROOT_MODE). VirtualBox can't operate in VMX root mode. Please disable the KVM kernel extension, recompile your kernel and reboot (VERR_VMX_IN_VMX_ROOT_MODE).

So it looks like the emulator and virtualbox both use the same hardware accelerator and connot divide it.

Maybe Hardware acceleration... under Windows called CPU VT... Is not "compatible" enough to run Virtual stuff at same time... In Intel HAXM driver I can see something about reserved Memory... 1024 MB as Standard... How much RAM you have in your PC or Notebook running Tizen ? Best Regards

8GB There is some conflict of emulator with virtual box. Also emulator works fine with kvm. But i think it is better if you can reproduce it to see result and find the issue.
